Public language for common ground

Making a complex civic initiative direct enough to understand and flexible enough to grow.

The work

Common Ground needed to speak to residents, organizers, funders, and city teams at once. We replaced institutional abstraction with a compact set of visual and verbal building blocks.

The result is a public information system that can move from a meeting handout to a citywide campaign without losing its voice.

Every project is built with the people who will use it. Decisions stay visible, language stays direct, and the system is tested in real conditions before it leaves the studio.

The useful detail

The strongest systems hold together at every scale—from the first impression to the small decision someone has to make every day.
