The work

Natsukashii began with a difficult design question: how can an archive feel organized without sanding away the private, imperfect character of what it holds?

We built the identity and interface around fragments rather than categories. A restrained typographic system gives every story a quiet frame, while an intentionally irregular image rhythm keeps the collection alive and personal.

Every project is built with the people who will use it. Decisions stay visible, language stays direct, and the system is tested in real conditions before it leaves the studio.

The useful detail

The strongest systems hold together at every scale—from the first impression to the small decision someone has to make every day.
